The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has performed with merit in a battery life comparison test, but it could not keep up with the predecessor S21 Ultra or the rival Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. Other flagship smartphones included in the Galaxy S22 Ultra battery life comparison were the Google Pixel 6 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Pro.

This shouldn't be a surprise. Also means less ram and battery needed to get more performance compared to android.

First of all, BOTH the 21U and new 22U were Exynos processors. It is widely known they routinely are out matched in several factors by the Snapdragon models for years. This comparison needs to be done using S21U, S22U, Note 20U, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, and 1 or 2 "other" widely known models.

As it is written, it just proves how inferior the Exynos is in general.

Lastly, as a simple upgrade the S22U at least on paper is NOT that impressive when compared to Note20U or S21U. Both previous siblings were decked out with RAM. S22U again suffers Samsung's oft used regressive spec choices. (ie Note10+ had larger base memory @256gb, Note20U had half @128gb).

As I wrote, this head to head would be interesting to see when using Snapdragon Proc over lazily designed Exynos.

Android's Dalvik is a deprecated technology. Nowadays most applications will use ART (if not all), making them equivalent to native applications since they don't run in a virtual machine and are precompiled when installed. So your argument does not stick.
