The NVIDIA RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti are some of the most expensive graphics cards on the market right now, even if they are perenially out of stock. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that your graphics card will be built correctly, as some people recently discovered with their Founders Edition and custom cards.

Badly written article
You are placing blame on Nvidia who supplies the chipset
Instead of on the manufacturer who supplies and assemble the rest including the cooling system
In this case it would be Asus who made the mistake

Duh...  The "founders" editions are so named because they are made by the founders, *cough*NVIDIA*cough*

For 3080 and 3090s you should ALWAYS replace the thermal pads and paste. It makes a HUGE difference on demanding workloads...

The 3080 ti is not a founders edition. In this case it has nothing to do with Nvidia and purely Asus. *shrugs* We've seen what? Two of these cards hit the news? Forced tempest in a teapot to generate clicks.

Don't write any more articles please this one is just so poorly written and misleading as others have stated the information is wrong. This is not my opinion but fact maybe you should do some fact checking and then take this down. Swinging the market with erroneous facts can be illegal too.

@Leithal you should also do some fact checking !! Im actually experiencing that kind of issued with my 3080 ti and nvidia does not seem to care a lot about ! Only thing i can advice is to keep ur dols and wait for a legit made GC !
