The Schenker Vision 14 is a new entrant into the ~14-inch, 16:10 display thin-and-light laptop market. This fresh option has magnesium alloy in its construction, as well as Tiger Lake CPUs and 3K/90Hz panels in some configurations. It can support up to 64GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 4, and has 2 slots for M.2 2280 SSDs.

There is a TongFang AMD version of this laptop that comes in Ryzen H45 CPU options, and a 15 inch / 1.5 kg / 90Wh model as well.

It started at just US$660 for the 14" FHD, Ryzen 4600H SKU.

Last year, this killer Schenker model was one of the best selling laptops in my country, due to being such a powerful laptop for its light weight and price, without making much compromises. It was advertised all over home electronics shopping sites for being 1st and sold out.

Glad to see they redesigned and improved it again this year.

qhd 16:10 screen, 28W sustained, both-sides USB-PD, full SD, socketed RAM and 2x2280? this is a genuine x1 carbon gen 9 killer.

if only it was in the US :'(

The exact computer make and model seems to be TongFang PH4TUX1. You can find internal and external photos by searching for 2AKHFAX201NG in the FCC ID database. Tuxedo Computers sells the same one using the brand name InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen 6.

There is an alternative version that uses the i7-11370h called TongFang PH4TRX1. It is sold with a 2K display by PCSpecialist using the brand name Fusion Studio 14, as well as by similar companies in Europe. I wonder which model is better.

I'd like to see a thorough review of these machines. That single-pipe cooling solution doesn't look very promising, but other than that, this seems to be one of the best non-convertible ultraportables in the market.

The PH4TRX1 has dual-fan cooling: the empty space for the second fan isn't reserved only for the dGPU SKUs.
I wonder how the 2560x1600 display in that model (available at PCSpecialist, Skikk, Laptopparts4less, Syspack, etc. etc....) compares to the 2880x1800 display in Schenker/Tuxedo's PH4TUX1.
I guess the former could be same panel as found in the Dell Inspiron 7400, which hasn't very strong contrast.
Interestingly, Mechrevo seems to be the only one offering the i7-11370H + 2880x1800 configuration at the moment, i.e. the best of both worlds.
According to the Reddit launch thread, the same configuration might become available from Schenker in August.

P.S. I think the article is wrong in describing the battery as removable: it is internal, screwed-in, like in every other laptop nowadays.

Any idea where I can buy this in the USA?

You can try shipping from Asia. AFAIK, East Asian Pacific and South East Asian regions sell the Ryzen models under various resellers. I'm not too sure about other regions.

A Chinese reseller would be the cheapest. If that seems too difficult, you could try Singapore, Hong Kong or Philippines' retailer websites since they're in English so you can easily contact them if needed.
