Before AMD revealed the RDNA 3 architecture, there were widespread rumors of RDNA 3 GPUs reaching >3 GHz clock speeds. But the actual boost frequencies of the RX 7900 XT and the RX 7900 XTX are considerably below 3 GHz. The latest rumors from RedGamingTech claim that AMD may launch a revised Navi 31 GPU inside new RX 7900 series cards that could breach the 3 GHz clock speed barrier.

wow, that's quite some leak if true and the 7990 xtx would be an absolute Mother of a card surely with that much cache and the upped power limit. Lovely stuff and good for consumers, keep going AMD

It makes no sense to release a 7950xtx and 7950xt and especially the 7950xt with same specs as a 7900xt, when the 7950xt would be weaker than a 7900xtx. Just look at those sku's they make no sense at all. If there is going to be a refresh of 7900 series there will be a 7950xt and it'll be golden samples and possibly faster gddr6 like the 24Gbps mentioned.
