Intel Xe-HPG DG2 could be the first to support DisplayPort 2.0, rumored specs indicate a 100 W TDP for the chip alone; low-end SKUs to launch first in Q4 2020

Additional specifications of Intel's upcoming Xe-HPG DG2 GPU have leaked alongside a board layout diagram. The specs indicate a 100 W TDP for the 512, 384, and 256-EU variants. Xe-HPG DG2 could also feature support for DisplayPort 2.0. Intel is expected to launch Xe-HPG DG2 sometime between October and December this year starting with the low-end SKUs.

I'm so glad that the duopoly in the GPU market will soon be over. So long as Intel is competitive on performance, they can undercut Nvidia and AMD and bring balance to the force. Plus, that 384 EU model looking real nice in my SFF PC...

It would help more if/when Intel can make their GPUs at their own fabs, not TSMC. Still, Intel and AMD together can book a nice chunk of capacity.
