The end of Logitech Harmony is nigh, even though it has no competitors

Logitech has killed Harmony, just as it did with Harmony Link and Squeeze Box. Apparently, Harmony servers will remain active, as will its database. For how long remains to be seen, though.

Article about the discontinuation of an entire product category, including the very real possibility that the products could become completely useless at any time, followed by a link to buy said products. Gotta love it.

I just hope their abandonment of the Harmony line, and the resultant end of the monopoly, results in other companies that may have been refraining from branching into the category due to that monopoly getting the nerve to do so. Logitech has been suffocating it for years, and there really needs to be new and better products to replace their junk.
