Newly granted patents have been spotted concerning the Apple Car project. One focuses on improving night vision by utilizing a long-wave infrared sensor while the other describes a laser-based depth-sensing system, or LiDAR. A self-driving autonomous Apple Car could be launched in 2024 or even as late as 2028.
