People in modern conditions quickly learn to count money, and the crowd will have less and less easy money (and rightly so).

It's easier to buy a case for M.2 2280 pci-e flash drive for a penny on a modern controller with a bridge to usb-c gen 2 and put a regular SSD in it than paying so much for a factory solution is no better.
