Xiaomi left it late with updating the Mi A2 to the January 2021 security patch, but we can have no such complaints this month. V11.0.21.0.QDIMIXM is rolling out now, just a few days after Google updated its Pixel smartphones to its latest security patch. The February 2021 security patch addresses 19 serious or critical CVEs for the Mi A2.

The update has caused audio timing problems. Audio plays normally at first then it plays faster and choppy. It requires a reboot to fix.
