Those values represent Furmark+Prime and other extreme cases like playing every AAA always on "Ultra".[/quote]
witcher 3 on max settings is "extreme case"? good to know.

QuoteMost games can be played with 70% fan speed which translates to 45.6 db(A) as outlined in this table:

hmm. we do know witcher 3 max settings is "extreme case" and extreme rpm and decibels. i am not sure what "most games" is. show me some measurements or something. where is any data?
QuotePlease also keep in mind that Notebookcheck is not using the ISO 7799 industry standard but puts the microphone 10cm closer to the chassis. This makes Notebookcheck's noise data incomparable to data published my manufacturers like other laptop brands or even NVIDIA themselves.
no worries, i am familiar with notebookchek numbers only so one reference point for my ears. i find most gaming laptops unusable. and i know what is the reason. manufacturers does not give a crap about making their products quieter. same 5k rpm 5 cm diameter 5mm thick coolers, designed 20 years ago.
