Lenovo ThinkPad L15 laptop review - Decent office companion with high system performance

Lenovo's ThinkPad L series includes inexpensive business laptops that have been able to convince in the past with good input devices and quite high-quality workmanship. The current 15-inch model in the series seeks to carry on this tradition while dramatically improving system performance with the new AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750 at the same time. We will clarify in the following review whether the final concept works.

Look at that empty space near M.2 slot...

Could've easily bumped to 60 Wh using a longer battery at the bottom; Another M.2 slot perhaps.

Perhaps this incurs design costs; only allocated to higher end models. Design percolated to lower ends apparently are all last-minute-solutions. Don't have a seat-belt? tie yourself to seat with a rope.

Memory : 16384 MB, DDR4 3200, single-channel, 1 of 2 slots occupied, 64 GB max

1. If you need more than 16GB(stock) on this laptop; perhaps you need a better laptop.
2. It says Single-Channel, so any size of DDR4 3200(or higher clock) Mhz will do in the second slot.

The exchange cost for 72% NTSC IPS/300 nits around +70-80$ (Grade A+). This is not a problem for non-suspicious people with straight arms and the need to spend no more than 1 hour of their time on this.

Where is the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme or at least T15p with AMD Ryzen 9 5800HS (35Watt) and RTX 3060 Max-Q?

There's plenty of room in this chassis, and the Asus G14 showed it works with decent thermals.

The Legion 5/7's keyboards are trash compared to a ThinkPad if you need to type all day.
