Very bad display for eyes, bad keyboard for working, bad noise in Idle. And the high price. With only one year warranty outside the EU. All this adds up to fatal traits for worldwide sales. Instead of the almost perfect (except for the screen and the red keyboard backlit) Omen 2018, in the end, by 2020, HP came to some kind of ugliness ... Rhetorical question - what kind of weed do HP marketers smoke? While Asus and Lenovo, on the contrary, have moved on to good keyboards. And Lenovo has finally started to install IPS (60 / 144Hz) good in terms of color rendering, even in cheap Legion versions (not counting 120Hz, but they are not sold at all in many countries).
Soon, Lenovo will be take the entire market for "gaming" laptops at such a pace. And HP will have to change the line of business again ...
It seems that even the last fool should already be clear that in the "gaming" series a high-quality full-fledged keyboard (with a full-fledged number pad, and not like Acer, MSI, and earlier Asus riveted, but now he realized the mistake) is a guarantee of success, like a good IPS. Plus a quiet cooling system in office workload.
Games are quickly fading away, along with the rapid obsolescence of 3D cards, and such series are increasingly bought as a cheap analogue of workstations, when a durable case is not needed, the laptop will be used only at home or in the office 99% of the time.
But as a working laptop, it remains for a long time - for 4-5 years. And a good full keyboard for 15 "+, a high-quality screen and a quiet cooling system are becoming the factors that sharply extend sales, since market players are no more than 10% of the total mass buying such models.
And I do not understand why none of the manufacturers install panels in junior models with GTX1650 without 144Hz? After all, in the office they are undoubtedly useful with their quick response, with the same scrolling of text, etc!
No more 60Hz IPS!
HP - put only 144Гц+ with 100% sRGB to G8 455 series and another business models! And sales will go on the ninth wave!
Don't try to sell the pathetic 45% NTSC IPS to people in 2021. It won't work anymore.
