What many future PS5 owners really want is an improved web browser for accessing Pornhub

There will be many console fans excited about the various features that the PS5 will offer: Backwards compatibility is already being feted as particularly enticing. However, there seems to be a growing movement of potential future PS5 owners who want Sony to implement a better web browser on the next-gen device, with the enhanced enjoyment of adult entertainment sites being a motivating factor.

They would have to totally re-invent the browsing experience, in order for it to be somewhat worthwhile, as even with a great standard browser, a controller could never properly replace the keyboard and mouse... And no, no one really wants that annoying "dictating" feature for every search. Especially if pornhub is the objective...
So why even bother? This is a gaming console - not a multi-purpose computer and that's the way it should remain.

It's a bit of a stretch to go from "ps users want a better browser" and "more than 50% of *console visitors* of pornhub are PS" (since that might still be only like 0,1% of their traffic) to "ps userswant a better browser so they could visit pornhub".

If anything, it tells me that PS4 has a better browser than other consoles, or even more likely, that there are more PS4s out there than xboxes.

Don't abuse the statistics.

i think that notion is ridiculous. i want ps5 for the great games i'm going to be able to play.

I think that maybe parents should act as parents and not delegate their children's education and upbringing to Sony.

Now if you told me they want better video playback to be able to watch guides, let's plays (e.g. checking out a game before buying it) and streams, I'd find that much more convincing.

They've literally taken the easy route and jus removed the browser outright so they don't have to deal with patching exploits 😂 (Sony is really testing my patience)
