Asus GL552JX Notebook Review

Gaming with limits. The Asus slogan for the new 15-inch ROG device is "Gaming Without Limits", which is unfortunately not the case because of the GeForce GTX 950M. If the limited performance is sufficient for you, you get a well-balanced multimedia-notebook with an SSD, great input devices and a convincing display for 1,200 Euros, which is, however, not without some flaws.

Hi, I am using Spyder pro 5 to calibrate my GL552JX, and the results are quite disappointing, center brightness only reach until 198 max and sRGB only covers around 60% and Adobe RGB 48%, is there any solution? I am using 1080p matte screen as well.

I am a design student from IIT BOMBAY. I have bought ASUS GL552JX-CN316T ROG series worth 76000 on bank loan. This product comes with 1 Year limited warranty.
Asus designed such a wonderful product that will work only for 1 year. only 20 days after completion of warranty my laptop shows some new unwelcoming ASUS hidden features. My laptop suddenly faces battery pack problem in which I can't use my notebook beyond battery level of 65% on battery mode.
Asus make a wonderful product which will last only for 1 year, after 1 year it will show problems. so ASUS indirectly saying one should invest 76000 only for one year.
In addition to that Asus has great consumer service who will just neglect you after 1 year like abandoned consumer.
So, whomsoever willing to buy ASUS product, my suggestion is don't go for such a product just because of brand name. I am facing student loan on top of that i need to pay extra money for faulty battery. Nice marketing strategy ASUS, well done!!!

Hi! I'm using this laptop to edit and color grade videos, could someone share a calibrated ICC profile. Also, I tried the profile put up to download but things look warm with a reddish cast.

I'm using this laptop since 21st December 2015, and today is 12th October 2020, its working flawlessly, I even removed the DVDRom and replaced with a drive caddy with 1tb SSD. This laptop is really nice and I can some play games that I like, not the recent ones(not interested in them).
