MIUI 13 Update Download (Early Access) available on Google Play, but not exactly what you'd expect

Advertised as "the only app to download MIUI 13 on your device" and apparently updated on June 23, the app created by Madhav Developers looks like a piece of code — possibly malignant — that should not have been allowed on Google Play. However, one thing is certain - MIUI 13 is not available for the public yet.

Notebookcheck is pushing junk articles these days. Was this article even newsworthy? Why would anyone install an doubtful app with only 100 downloads in the first place? ??? ???

You would be amazed how easy can be to fool the average Joe with such apps, especially when Google allows them to go live on Google Play. At first sight, it looks like everything's legit. If at least one of those reading this "junk article" learns what to look for in Google Play apps to distinguish misleading/potentially harmful apps from useful/safe ones, then I think it was newowrthy. Don't you agree? If you want to pick a fight with someone, maybe you should ask Google about the one who allowed this app through the verification process.

For heaven's sakes... you're so clueless you don't even know why these commentators are angry with you?

Its your click bait headline! It should be "Fake MIUI 13 link on Google Play spotted" and that would have been fully informative and people wouldn't even need or bother to click on it.

Admit it, you put that stupid headline to try to get people to click it. You wasted everybody's time!

I am not clueless. However, if somebody would "waste their time" to read the  headline entirely, that should be enough. Google Play does not offer links, but apps. I mentioned the name of the app in my headline and the fact that it is not what you would expect. Not clear enough? Excuse me for your lack of attention, in this case. My fault.

It had a hundred downloads when written, now has a thousands. Sadly, people are always falling for these things. Trust me, I'm helping run a Mi community and a LOT of folk want updates NOW, no matter whether they are real or not. And we get to clean up the mess that such ''apps'' leave behind.
