OnePlus charges less than 400 Euros (~$470) for the OnePlus Nord: A smartphone with a 90-Hz display, 5G, a fast SoC, a lot of internal storage and a premium exterior. Has OnePlus finally managed to return to offering the undisputed best value phone?

Definitely don't understand the last sentence, OnePlus is definitely not a "small company". It is a subbranch of the gigantic Oppo.

For those wanting to get to know more about OnePlus, my advice is to check out YouTube videos by user TechAltar, especially "The OnePlus hype needs to die".

While OnePlus and Oppo have little market share in "the western world" compared to Samsung, LG and Apple for example, the "small company" argument doesn't work anymore. Especially when seeing the millions spent in marketing and hype creation over the past few month regarding this regular mid-range phone that has nothing much to brag about. There are thus no excuses for the many QC issues and unreliability of OnePlus devices. If OnePlus had really tried to win hearts back from those unhappy of the unreasonable price increases, they would have brought back features enthusiasts keep talking about, the headphone jack, the IR blaster, the micro-SD card support, etc. Oppo, and thus OnePlus prefers to spend money on marketing and creating a following.

Its going really hot this is a big issue
why does this happen o this phone specially when you know that other phones with the same processor have a 5c difference in the temperatures why is that can it be fixed by software update ?
a really big disappointment

After looking at the camera samples in the review, the poor low-light camera performance is very likely due to the pre-release software (at the time of this review) or an "early days" bug than an actual characteristic of the camera setup. The Nord has the very same main camera (with OIS) as in the OnePlus 8 (which NBC has also reviewed), so there is no good reason why the hardware would perform that differently in low-light.

You have pretty much nailed it in your comment. Unlike all other phones in this price range that *must* produce crappy low-light photos because exposure times are limited due to the lack of OIS (thus higher ISOs, more noise, or loads more processing time for computational photography are a given), the OnePlus Nord camera hardware is actually capable of overcoming those limitations and blow away the entire mid-range competition on low-light photography.
