My E6540 has a BIOS entry "Minicard SSD device = None" in General -> System Information. The E6540 has room for 3 mini pci-e devices (2 half size, one is used for wifi, the other is labeled 1/2 mini, 1 full size labeled wwan). It would be nice to test if a msata SSD would work in the E6540 (you tested this in the E6530 review, but not for the E6540). My E6540 has BIOS version A01.

Das würde mich auch interessieren, hat es jemand getestet?
Normalerweise müsste es dem Board egal sein, was eingesteckt wird??
