@Archuk

You're right, the ZenBook line is mid-range, only they're priced as high-end.
ZenBook 15 is 1,300 USD, XPS 15 with graphics is actually cheaper starting at 1,240 USD.

If you got your ZenBook 15 for $600, then good for you. But as far as I know, Asus doesn't have open discounts or refurbished stores online.

Are you intentionally being disingenuous? "Starting at?" You realise the Zenbook doesn't "start at" $1300. You're not comparing apples to apples. The Zenbook 15 is $1300USD with i7Useries 16ram, 512gb; while the XPS is $2000USD for i7Hseries 16ram, 512gb. Like, what do you expect? Pay $700 more, and get better build, better processor.  In Australia it's even worse. The 512GB versions are $2200AUS vs $3200AUS.

What on earth makes you think people want a highly reflective glossy screen Asus?   Enough with this crap.   Matte screen, glass like trackpad, NO keyboard numpad (crammed in next to a decent keyboard).

At least you did better with the weight than I expected.   Still not near Acer's ultra light laptops though.
