Slightly cooler, slightly quieter, slightly smaller, and slightly faster — the little things all add up for a more favorable experience on the Razer Blade 15.

I may be wrong, but I think the Razer only has one M.2 slot; potentially a point in the MSI's favour.

Slightly heavier, much worse quality control, meaning your particular laptop has a very high probability of having a lot of issues. The one on the review table stand is, of course, the best and most reliable piece they could find. However, in most cases, it is not true for regular purchase.

Not saying that MSI much better. Just do your research before buying it.

There is another very important difference that the author conveniently seemed to have forgotten: the MSI comes with twice the RAM (32GB) compared to the Razer. And, Razer doesn't even offer 32GB of RAM making me believe that they ran into some issues with it.
Using my laptop not just for games, I really want this much more RAM which will give me a significant performance boost with some workloads, such as video editing or even running my flight simulator with realism completely turned up.

Razer is notorious for bad QC- BSOD, overheating SSD, power brick gone down... and fheir customer support isnt even a joke, theyre abyssmal. Very sad given their sturdy chassis and good cooling. However, MSI can be good with a LM repaste, generally have less QC issues than Razer and have two storage slots. Their chassis isnt too sturdy, but doesnt creak anymore. They have my vote.

This comparison should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Razer Blades CPU is undervolted whereas GS65 is not.
Also GPU drivers versions are quite different.
Last but not least, GS65 is, of course, running slightly hotter, and has shorter battery runtime because it maintains higher CPU clock rates.

From what I see both are great laptops,
The second storage option is more important to me than build quality, hence I sat GS65.
