The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, like its sister model Mi 9T, has a motorised pop-up front-facing camera to aid in the pursuit of the highest possible screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with a Snapdragon 855, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage too, but Xiaomi has made cuts in some areas that hold it back from challenging the Mi 9. Read on to find out how the Mi 9T Pro, or should we say Redmi K20 Pro, performs in our tests and how it shapes up against the Mi 9.

It's really strange that the only site on the web that measures PWM doesn't mention that this phone has hardware DC dimming, let alone test it.

You didn't mention it in 9t review too (it has DC dimming, but software version).

I waited for your reviews to check pwm with hardware dc dimming for the first time and... Nothing.

There is a Traffic mode switch option in the Additional settings which at the bottom of the WLAN config list.
Default setting is reguler mode, and if you change that to extreme mode, the data transfer rate whould be much fater and more stable.

K20 Pro does have DC dimming feature by hardware way, why didn't you mention this?

Xiaomi Mi 9T doesn't have same DC dimming option yet, it will come later with software update.

I think you passed the gps test part, lightly. I mean it has dual band gps which by itself is a great feature to achieve (if done correctly) batter accuracy on all situations.
Also, in the review you write (and i quote):
QuoteThe Mi 9T Pro deviated slightly from the route that the Garmin recorded as the photos below demonstrate, but not worryingly so. Overall, the device is accurate enough for general use as a substitute sat-nav or bike computer.
But, looking at the pictures you have to prove your point i see that the Redmi has achieved much better accuracy (look at the road line, the bridge 2 sided way). So it's accuracy is much better in fact than the Garmin (and not the other way around).

hi,
I am confused with buying mi 9t pro and mi 9 se. The mi 9t pro has slow wifi and poor LTE support. Can someone help with this.
Thanks in advance

The EU SAR rating is too high for the Mi 9t Pro.

Head: 1.302 W/Kg,  Body: 1.508 W/Kg

That was a turn off for me and many others and I decided from 499 euro that is selling in my place to go double and get a note 10 that has by far less SAR.  The federal office for radiation protection of Germany (bfs.de) suggests that phone is safe if it has SAR bellow 0.60.

Apparently, for being able to archive lower price they have to cut down money from other parts like cameras but apparently, they are cutting down from antenna design too that is the reason for that ridiculous high SAR rating.  Many people use as an excuse that this is the highest rating but I prefer to have on head 0.17 SAR than 1.302 w/kgr.
