At just 13 inches, the Dell Latitude 5300 is a small and lightweight companion for everyday business. Users do not have to go without safety features and the maintenance options are reasonable. What else is in the small business laptop, we clarify in our review.

With 13" screen and 1.4 kg this is just a very hot (50degrees Celsium) brick
and it is faaaaar faaar away from business laptop
and the price is also "nice" ... 1.5k for this? Jesus!

I just don't understand the rating.
So, with a total defeat at temperature, you put a 90% score to it, while its Audio score is 50% with "better than 86% devices" and the difference of a single +- vs apple's +, wat? As per your review, I'd rank it a 99% compared to other models out there (-1% for temp, and there's pretty much no option of a discrete video for a 13" case). Or those others should have a 30% rating... quite puzzled

This seems to be supplied more commonly as a clear as mud LCD panel. Pity, everything else is very nice.

Sorry, but I can't stand this laptop. I've been supplied one at work and I'm not impressed. The screen is good quality but it's too high resolution for my eyes - I see many others having to squint to read it. The light at the front of the unit doesn't seem to indicate anything - it's hard to tell if the laptop's on or off! The fingerprint reader is very hit and miss. My biggest gripe is the keyboard, I've never had such trouble typing on a laptop before. The keys must be too small or something - I'm constantly hitting the wrong keys. Also the key layout is questionable, you've gotta use the Fn + F11 for Home and Fn + F12 for End. Really? The fan's surprisingly noisy too, it seems to warm real quick.
