The war on extremely slim bezels has already gone too far. The curved edges on the front side (of any screen) result in accidental touches, making it difficult to hold the phone. Who cares about screen to body ratio? It's a useless stat and now stupid phone makers are pushing themselves away from what really matters. Samsung eliminated the iris scanner too as the display pushes into the bezels and sacrifices everything else.
People care about a usable functional phone, not gimmicks. I will be sure to cross Vivo Nex 3 off the list if the "waterfall" display results in accidental touches around the edges. Phone manufacturers are also eliminating useful things like the notification LED from the front, even from IPS LCD (where Always on Display doesn't work properly). I hate such phones with a passion.
Google's upcoming Pixel 4 will likely have a huge bezel packed with innovative features—and that's the way it should be.
