No it's not. Consumers will be left paying for 5G capability without actually being able to use it in the product's lifetime. Even China with the most cash is shifting from SA to NSA with significant further investment in 4G, a notable reason for that being Huawei's 5G basestations not performing at a commercially sensible level. 5G availability will remain very, very limited for the next couple of years, and speeds will be closer to 4G than what's promised for 5G.

Oh yeah, and despite China projected to being the largest market for 5G equipment, and significant backing of Huawei by the Chinese government, Huawei still only had 17% of the 5G market in 2018, in 4th place behind Ericsson, Samsung, and Nokia. What "great job" they've done!
