I got my first HP EliteBook 840 G1 with UWVA FHD IPS screen in April 2014 ( serial CNU409**** - manufactured on the 9th week of 2014) and realistically this is the only model (with UVWA screen) that should have been taken into consideration while choosing the 840 G1 for reviewing, hence I am not surprised that the 840 been ending up in the 4th/5th position if judged it by its pathetic TN screen.
What a lot of mumbo jumbo your ratings are !
Business computers should be :-
1) Dependable, nothing worse than flying across oceans only to have your notebook fail.
2) have long battery life for travel or remote presentations
3) be simple to operate,
4) wide range of connection options, vga, usb, smartcard, lan, wlan as you never know what you might or might not encounter on the road.
5) light, you get tired very quickly lugging a 3kg+ monster around.
6) fast, try opening a 200mb powerpoint
7) accurate colour rendition, there is no point in displaying anything if the colours are inaccurate, it is totally misleading to you and your clients.
So all of these criteria can be applied to any notebook, your seemingly arbitary subjective selection criteria for these "top 10" Is baffling
Why isn't your top ultrabook here ?
Why isnt your top light gaming computer here?
Why isnt the latest Macbook Pro here ?
Why does you top "business" computer not even have a HDMI output?
Regarding security a "supposedly " important criteria in a "business" notebook..
I read nothing special or unique that sets their security apart from most other notebooks.
Your approach only perpetuates the status quo of branding and supports the manufacturers premium pricing models for notebooks that have nothing particularly unique to justify the pricing.
I' m really wonder about most of the review about dell Latitude e5450 don't tell more about the I7 version. I bought it, cause of geforce 840m. I would glad to see a comparision between business pc model on their top version, not just a I5 against a I7.
Agreed, good compilation of the best laptops out there.
I have made a compilation of the best budget and high-end laptops especially in India from my personal experience, Do check it out guys

This article is missing an entry for the Lenovo X260, which is arguably Lenovo's best business ultrabook. http://www.slant.co/topics/5508/~laptops-for-business has the X260 along with the T450s. Also depends on industry. Tech world definitely prefers Macbooks over Windows whereas traditional large corporations prefer Dells, HPs, and Lenovos.
Looking at this page from my Lithuanian VPN noticed the page listed prices in Lithuanian Lits.
Lithuania switched to the Euro a while ago. You might want to change appropriate php script.
Maybe you haven't reviewed this yet but the Gigabyte P34k v7 CF1 is lighter, thinner and has a better battery life than many of these while being more powerful than all of them (CPU and discrete GPU-wise).
Hm, there seems to be a problem at least in the english version of the notebookcheck.com. On the homepage there's a recent link to this article which says February 2017 update in the preview paragraph, however, when I click the link it goes to this page, where it says January 2017 update. Hasn't been translated yet or pointing to a wrong article?
Why is Lenovo T470 3 times in the list? Give other brands a chance!
These are three completely different machines, T470, T470s and T470p. The placement on the list is not based on branding, its based on the scores of the machines.
i'm surprised that dell latitude e7480 didn't make it to the list, although thinkpads are indeed not bad.
Where is Latitude 7410?
"Yeah so here's a list of 11xxg7 laptops"
Your information is perfectly composed. I enjoyed reading your information
From Notebookcheck review on 11/01/2023:
"ThinkPad T14s G4 review: Business laptop is better with AMD Zen4"
With a score of 90%
Why is this laptop not on the list and there are laptops with lower score??
Just look at the performance graph in this article...
Intel CPUs are like a 80 years old man's cock.
It can't stay up for more than 10 sec, it drops like stone! hahaha
Mini pocket computer AMD Ryzen7 5700U 16+ 512 G NVME SSD( PCIE3.0 3500MB/S)
Mini PC pocket computer, Ryzen7 16G ram 512G ssd
it only cost me 239
cpu is amd ryzen 7 5700U
amzon fba ,brand is aoostar
List appears to be missing some recent reviews, e.g. the HP Elitebook X G1a
Lots of AMD fanboys are mad that no AMD CPU is in here. Fact is Lunar Lake has best battery life and ST in the market, which is more relevant in the business world.
