An X user has managed to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch 2 motherboard. As previously rumoured, it is confirmed to use an Nvidia Tegra chip and memory modules from SK Hynix. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Nintendo-Switch-2-motherboard-teardown-confirms-key-specs.1003950.0.html
Is the T239 CPU portion not just 8 Arm-78C cores?
Rather than a mix of X1, A78 and A55 as reported here
If true, the large X1 core is a welcome upgrade for games that are single threaded bound or bottlenecked but the addition of a A55 cluster is rather confusing. Kind of wished they had gone a more mediatek approach and went all mid cores + a big core with zero efficiency cores as they're generally quite useless for gaming on.
