The KTC H27P3 is a 5K monitor featuring a 120 Hz mode, great colour reproduction and a decent peak brightness of 500 nits – all at a competitive price. Its USB-C port makes it an excellent match for a Mac.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Affordable-5K-monitor-with-120-Hz-500-nits-and-99-DCI-P3-KTC-unveils-alternative-to-Apple-Studio-Display.994671.0.html
Putting aside the quadratic complexity of resolution scaling, surely that's 1440p@120Hz and not 1080p@120Hz, right?
Either way, putting aside also any longings for taller aspect ratios, the price point is good if it converts cleanly enough.
this monitor is using the same BOE 5K Panel that Asus, BenQ, Viewsonic, Japannext, and Kuycon are using in their 5K displays.
the only interesting part will be the price, and whether it has a good matte coating or a bad one.
