The launch of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro is approaching. Now, a reliable leaker has described how much launch accessories for the Mavic 3 Pro will cost, including DJI Care Refresh plans.

Hm. To me, 250g is the line between consumer and professional drones because in ALL countries, if you're over 250g you have to register the drone and get certification and licensing to use it - which requires upfront training and costs, something generally only professionals would do.

In fact, while in many countries like Canada, that line is true regardless of use, commercial or recreational, in the US, even sub-250g drones have to be registered and the operator licensed is the drone is being used for commercial purposes - which even more reinforces that idea.

So, the Mavic 4 Pro, at over a kilo, is definitely NOT a "high-end consumer drone", rather it's a low end professional drone or, arguably, a "prosumer drone". The Mini 4 Pro at 249g is a "high-end consumer drone".
