Smartphones with physical keyboards are scarce these days, the same applies to slider phones. This is why a new project adds a touchpad and keyboard to a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, which should allow for comfortable typing of longer texts.

THis is amazing. I hope it get available for modern android phones.
Old phone designs were so much more innovative than this bar and flip screen crap we keep getting fed today. Just give us back functionality that matters not this software bloated bs 2025.
I had an Nokia 9210 communicator which was in the day a truly nice bit of kit ,
This reminds me a bit of that , with a much better screen and layout , great idea.
I miss 5 row horizontal sliders. The Sprint Samsung Galaxy S was the best selling variety despite Sprint being the 3rd largest carrier. People still want good keyboard phones.
Unfortunately, manufacturers either made keyboard phones with mid range specs, or downgraded the keyboards in both things like quality or to 4 rows. Then used the excuse to claim people didn't want keyboard phones.
Just like when manufacturers killed the stylus assuring that nobody wants them, yet the Note ended up one of the best selling phones despite even the premium prices. And it is shocking no manufacturer tried to compete with the Note, and no I don't mean those low end stylus phones that don't have pressure sensors in the display.
That'd be something I'd spend on if Samsung hadn't made it where my Note10+'s antennas stopped working so it'd get no signal on any cellular network. I ditched Samsung for good and got myself a Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro, I've never been as in love with a phone as I am with this one. Samdung can't even compare to it with any of their phones.
