Post by: Redaktion on February 03, 2025, 12:46:48
Every month, Valve publishes the hardware-related data it collects from Steam users, offering insight into the most popular CPUs and GPUs among gamers. As for the latest survey, there's no major shift yet again.

"Software-wise, Windows 11 currently has 53.46% of the share, while Windows 10 is still installed on most gamer's systems, coming with a 42.87% share in the latest survey.

Correction: "installed on MANY gamer's systems"...

Is English a 2nd or 3rd language for the Author?

Hi GeorgeS,

Thanks for pointing that out! The phrasing could indeed be clearer. While "most" might imply a majority, the context suggests "many" is more accurate since Windows 10 is still widely used but not necessarily on the majority of gamer systems.

As for your question about the author's language background, it's hard to say without more context. Small phrasing issues like this can happen to native and non-native speakers alike. Either way, the data itself is interesting—Windows 11 is gaining ground, but Windows 10 still has a strong presence among gamers.

Cheers!
