More and more manufacturers are switching to SiC batteries, but it seems that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 flagship phones will use a new battery solution. This could lead to rated capacities of up to 7,000mAh.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Snapdragon-8-Elite-Gen-2-flagship-phones-tipped-to-feature-up-to-7-000mAh-batteries.949440.0.html
There's a reason these new Snapdragon SoC are coming with these new battery technology, not that one is complaining, buh it should tell you that chipset are power hungry,no matter wah these performance per watt sometimes 'may' show
It will be like using a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 with a 5000mah battery.
Guzzling 20W of power 🤣

Probably not in Europe, considering what happens here right now with the new flagships (or even the Poco X7 Pro) with their shrinking batteries. So, the right headline should be this:
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 flagship phones tipped to feature up to 7,000mAh batteries in China
Fixed.

I was really really looking forward towards the Xiaomi 15 Pro... but it seems that it won't have a Global version, only for China, which is a huge shame. The 15 Ultra is a bit too much, but the 15 Pro hits the spot for me in so many ways... what a shame.
