Title: GamersNexus takes PayPal and Honey to court over MegaLag allegations
Post by: Redaktion on January 16, 2025, 14:43:29
PayPal subsidiary Honey is now being sued by the influential PC hardware review group GamersNexus. It is taking legal action as a response to claims made by YouTube channel MegaLag concerning the browser extension's "deceptive trade practices". GamersNexus editor-in-chief Steven Burke asserts that Honey needs to be taken to account in this manner given the damage done to content creators and consumers alike.

What's with the OnePlus mention right at the end of the article, it's completely out of place.

And the original makers of honey who sold it to PayPal are already on their next scammy project, excessively advertising their adblock pie.org. Claiming you can make money from using it and all sorts. It's basically honey all over again just with ads. Super cringe and annoying ads. How does a ad lock have enough money to advertise on YouTube? Right, it's either selling your data or sending ads through anyways.
