At CES 2025, Asus has unveiled the ROG Zephyrus G14 2025. Featuring up to a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU from AMD and up to an RTX 5080 laptop GPU from Nvidia, the latest ROG Zephyrus G14 iteration is bound to be considerably more powerful than the 2024 variant which tops out just a Ryzen 9 8945HS and an RTX 4070 laptop GPU.https://www.notebookcheck.net/2025-Asus-ROG-Zephyrus-G14-announced-with-up-to-RTX-5080-laptop-GPU-ROG-Nebula-OLED-display-and-thinner-build.941499.0.html
Looks impressive!!
However wheres the TB4 (or even TB5?) port(s)?
"start at $2,199.99"
So it will be what, $3500 in Europe ?
Like the 2024 version which is completely overpriced, and $1000 more than in the US
It would not surprise me if the launch in EU is delayed quite a bit due to them trying to divert all stock to USA first before trump tariffs tax kick in.
So don't think we need to worry about the pricing of these products anytime soon.

Dedicate yourself to something else, your lack of knowledge in computing is evident with this question.
TB4 and TB5 belong to Intel and cannot use AMD chips. Intel forces OEM manufacturers to pay more with these licenses to put them in a laptop, that's why Intel laptops are so expensive.
This ROG Zephyrus G14 2025 is the most interesting but it has to lower the prices even more in the US, it will be the most blessed, in Europe it costs $800 more that people are not willing to pay.

Lmao, I love it when people are so confidently wrong. Check this from the very recent review here, a laptop with Ryzen:
"Minor update with Thunderbolt 4."notebookcheck.net/HP-EliteBook-845-G11-Laptop-Review-No-major-changes-but-still-one-of-the-best-business-notebooks.941399.0.htmlAnd that's not the only one, plenty of AMD-based laptops offer 2x Thunderbolt 4 just fine. Literally just check review here, filter for AMD only.
