Dell is once again bringing back Area-51 to Alienware gaming laptops. The new Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51 essentially succeed the Alienware m16 and m18, respectively, but with a slightly modified chassis featuring the latest Intel Arrow Lake-HX CPUs and Nvidia's new RTX 50 series Laptop GPUs.

The keyboard has a reasonable layout with ordinarily-sized arrow and numpad keys, albeit the top row could be less narrow, PgUp and PgDown are secondary functions on arrow keys and the power button ought to be outside the keyboard. Previously, Dell failed to combine mechanical keyboard with German layout - will it be different this time? Will there again be rip-off upgrade prices?
