If this is aimed for desktops, there's a very high probability it will support dgpus, which would solve most of the compatibility issues.
Open source Linux developers are already using server grade arm chips with amd dgpus and have very few issues.
Most of the compatibility issues are on arm igpus (which is a problem on mobile yes but not desktop parts).
Great news ! And I expect for the others players (mediatek, nvidia, samsung, etc.) enter the race
