I don't get it, this processor is "efficient" but it has lower perf scores and lower wifi runtime on similar battery when compared to hp 1040 g11 with meteor lake. Is it just the OLED. The lack of HDMI is the biggest deal-breaker. Why do they have to imitate Apple so much:(
It's not light enough and doesn't have enough ports. I don't see why other laptop manufactures aren't following Fujitsu's example with a 700g non touch laptop or a 900g touch convertible while having 4 USB, HDMI, and lan ports. Although they use half the typical battery capacity to achieve most of the weight savings, the higher efficiency CPUs use less power.
I don't see why the author's getting so excited about 1.3 kg, as it's only about 100 GRAM lighter than most high-end 14 inch convertibles. As to the port selection, yeah, it sucks, I'm looking at 8 year old lenovo 14 inch convertible: 2 x usb-c, 2 x usb-A. And a hdmi. And a micro-sd (not that lenovo laptops are great, they've been on a steady decline since mid-2010s).
I just purchased this laptop and I find it laughable your statement about the touchpad's travel being "very shallow and feedback is relatively weak and quiet for an unsatisfying feel."
It sounds like you're not aware that this laptop has a haptic touchpad!

Yes, this is a terrible oversight of NotebookCheck!
Too expensive for everything this laptop offers. Very important, the integrated Arc 140V graphics card is slightly faster than the previous Arc 8, which puts it on par with the Radeon 880M. This is not true; AMD's integrated graphics card, the Radeon 880M, is almost twice as fast in 3D rendering and CAD. Other comparisons seen on YouTube show that the drivers are still being polished, so I would not recommend it for AAA games and heavy work.

Guys, the 258V includes 32GB ram not 16.....
HP is transitioning their whole consumer line under the Omnibook name. So this Omnibook Ultra Flip laptop is the successor the Spectre x360, as opposed to being an alternate product. The lack of performance is just name of the game for Lunar Lake, where raw performance was sacrificed for batter life. Which IMHO for this kind of thin and light laptop, is a worthy tradeoff.

AND this HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 14 have Haptic Touchpad,, I would ask you not to make mistakes in the future.
