Title: Nissan's experimental 'cool paint' achieves up to 12°C exterior and 5°C interior car temperature reduction
Post by: Redaktion on August 11, 2024, 20:18:43
Nissan is working on paint with metamaterial tech to reduce vehicle cabin temperatures. The new paint was demonstrated via a year-long trial and could contribute to higher fuel efficiency, or in EVs case, extended battery life. Tests confirm up to a 12-degree Celsius reduction in exterior temperature and up to a 5-degree Celsius cooler interior.

"Thick" "clear" top coat is what I like to hear. Moderns cars always have the thinnest paint.
