Title: Leaked Nintendo Switch 2 documents reinforce performance leap as power and cooling requirements skyrocket
Post by: Redaktion on August 10, 2024, 02:49:36
A recent Nintendo Switch 2 leak claimed Steam Deck-like performance from the upcoming handheld gaming console, and now, a new shipping manifest seems to reinforce that information. The supposed leaked documentation indicates that the Steam Deck 2 will be need to draw nearly twice as much power from the wall as the original Switch.

These two things completely contradict each other.

One of them is the Idiotic MLID made up nonsense video where he claims the switch 2 will pull less than 5 watts power draw when docked, and the other is a real public customs manifest a non hack tech reporter could easily go and verify as being real, that shows the switch 2's 60 watt psu shipping.

Steamdeck has a 45 watt psu by the way.

Headline says it's about switch 2, blurb says " Steam Deck 2 will be need to draw nearly twice as much power from the wall as the original Switch." First paragraph mentions the "shipping manifest for the Steam Deck 2". Rest of the article mentions Switch 2. About which device is this article? And why does the text feel so awkward and has so many mistakes?

Thanks for pointing out those errors. I've corrected them in the piece.

Maths not computing.... The new power brick is only 35% more power bud.
