Title: Lenovo Tab Plus tablet review – The US$300 entertainer has the best sound
Post by: Redaktion on August 01, 2024, 16:45:52
Inexpensive tablets don't usually come with many surprising features. The same can't be said for the 11.5-inch Lenovo Tab Plus, as it will even make music fans happy with its powerful 26-watt sound system. Thanks to its eight JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos, the US$300 tablet boasts a better sound than considerably more expensive tablets such as the Apple iPad Pro.

G99 and 1 year of android updates are not worth $300.

That's the list price, which in Lenovo's case is almost always set high, presumably so they can easily offer discounts through the year.

At the end of 2024, the 8GB/256GB model is available for $200, which seems like a reasonable deal given that you get two Android updates (from 14 to 16) and security updates to 2028. I could see retiring it to a role as a home media playback display after then and not feel bad about spending the money.

The other thing for me is that the feel of cold metal instead of glass or plastic when holding a device is indescribably lux.
