Title: MSI Claw review - The gaming handheld with an Intel Core Ultra processor disappoints
Post by: Redaktion on June 17, 2024, 16:37:20
MSI is slightly late to the gaming handheld bandwagon by releasing the Claw—an Intel-based model. After several updates over the course of the last few weeks, its performance is now said to have been improved. We have thoroughly tested the compact gamer.

Totally agree.

The test was completely useless using ultra or even high graphics in heavy games.

All of these handhelds work well on high graphics (not ultra) in older games or less graphically demanding games, and in newer and heavier games low/medium graphics are ideal.

MSI was completely wrong and realized it too late, losing billions of dollars to AMD processors.
MSI has an agreement with Intel to preferably use Intel chips and in terms of graphics we all know that AMD is far above Intel.
The problems with Intel chips, in addition to their low performance, are their consumption, almost double that of an AMD chip, and this is essential in handheld consoles where the lightness of the product and the durability of the battery is essential for gamers, in addition to the fact that the chips Intel's get hotter, causing wear and tear that shortens the life of the console.

One correction in this review - from what I've seen the Claw does indeed have VRR.
