The article misses one important point: there is no platform for 5D EV Mini, as this "new" Mini is actually not a new car, because this whole new combustion engine generation of Mini 3D/5D is just a facelift of the previous generation that makes it look like the all-new generation on the Chinese platform. The most visible giveaway that this is just rebodied last model is the dark plastic fenders, the new one does not have them. And as the last generation had only 3D EV and not 5D, thus no 5D EV in this generation, as the 3D EV is the new platform, and Aceman is kinda the replacement for 5D on EV platform.
