Title: Nitecore EDC33 and EDC35 hands-on review: Two truly hot flashlights
Post by: Redaktion on June 07, 2024, 15:40:12
Nitecore has released the EDC33 and EDC35—two interesting everyday flashlights. They offer a useful boost mode until the end of their battery life, but this battery concept brings some disadvantages and in our eyes, the flashlights get a little too hot for comfort.

Most people can use a handy flashlight that is reliable, waterproof, and has batteries that are readily available to be either swapped out and/or recharged quickly. Although a lot of advanced features are nice, the important features from my own experience is 1) reliability, 2) reasonable cost 3) easy and quick replacement or use of rechargeable batteries, preferably lithium, 4) low heat generation. Flashlight technology has come a long way in 20 years. There's lots of choices out there for flashlights that provide the 3 qualifications above for everyday use for under $20.
