A rumor is currently doing the rounds that Microsoft wants to make a purchase offer of 16 billion US dollars to Steam operator Valve. However, there are good reasons to doubt the veracity of this statement.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Microsoft-is-rumored-to-be-planning-the-acquisition-of-Valve-for-16-billion-dollars.841031.0.html
If that happens I'm out, Microsoft is an awful company.
I'm... I mean... I'm... *sighs* ... what... Just... UGH!!!
Horrible news if the rumour is true (hopefully - it is not), but it could be worse (Meta, Alphabet or... EA).
Valve is not a public company. It's a private company, and their administration isn't driven by public investors. They can't be bought unless they're willing to being bough. And I can't see any future where Valve would want this.
If this were to happen, it would be a contradiction, considering that the owner of Valve is not Microsoft's biggest fan.
I think this rumor has already been debunked yesterday...
But for the joke's sake: remember that Microsoft payed 5 billion $$ for "Minecraft" and then only offering 16 billion $$ for Valve. That's beyond ridiculous.
Please don't let Microsoft do this and ruin yet another good thing
Adding clickbait onto your title is pathetic
