May be too lite too late. Many automates are already committed to 'Google Built In' (AKA Android Automotive) and they're not going to install two in car OSs.
Why is this so important? Can the majority of people really not go 20 minutes without some kind of smart device? Humans are becoming pathetically dependent on tech that should help decrease ignorance but it seems to only speed up the rise of ignorance

It is more likely to do with the fact that most current car's infotainment UIs are shite. So everyone is hoping for a savior even in the form of Apple.
