The Cybertruck has been put through its paces at a gun range, facing off against a variety of ammunition and weapons, from a 9 mm Glock 19 to a full-blown .50 cal rifle — all in the name of testing Tesla's bulletproof pickup claims. The results were surprising, regardless of your opinion of the Cybertruck. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Cybertruck-bulletproof-claims-shattered-with-50-cal-rifle-smaller-rounds-also-penetrate-stainless-steel-panels.811467.0.html
Why should an ordinary person have a military-grade weapon?
there's an infinite amount of different calibers to prove that 'musk was lying' if you want to prove it.
at the end of the day you always can try 356mm naval cannon.

I mean he said it himself in the vid right at the beginning:
"Nothing is actually bulletproof, there is always gonna be a bigger bullet, but today we're gonna see scientifically where that line gets drawn."Nothing wrong with that 🤷
yes cybertruck is "bullet proof" against less poerful pistol caliber rounds. Also pretty obvious that cyber truck is NOT bullet proof against most rifle caliber rounds. I wish jerryrig tested some of more powerful pistol rounds, such as 44 magnum or 500 S&W. Note - many rifles (such as deer hunting rifle) are not military weapons, but has way more powerful than most pistols. It's all about velocity of round and total energy.
In November 2023, Elon Musk posted a video on X showing how the Cybertruck fared while being hit by bullets. In the video, Musk claims that the Cybertruck's doors are bulletproof against .45 caliber and 9 millimeter caliber ammunition.
These claims were correct. The Cybertruck is bulletproof to the caliber bullets against those bullets.

Why did Rosa Parks have to sit in the front of the bus? It's because it was her RIGHT to do it!
Notice not shots at the window. If you are trying to shoot someone in a truck you would aim at the windows not at the body of the truck.
50 cal rifle? Really?
Bulletproof is a stupid Hollywood concept, used here to generate click bait. And to demonstrate this site absolute ignorance of ballistics.
Idk of their bulletproof claims were shattered.... if anything it was kinda reinforced ...

That isn't how rights work Skippy.
So they can murder people. The only way they can get erect, like Kevin Monahan and James Holmes.

What do you consider military grade? They use pistols in the military. Is that military grade?

Because that's the whole reason for the 2nd amendment, you clueless wonder. To protect against governmental force, either foreign or domestic. God you people are as dense as lead.

Why do you have an opinion about something that you don't know the first thing about?? Military grade?? Even your made-up terms are nonsensical.

When you consider that military equipment is manufactured by the lowest bidder, that term should absolutely terrify you.
Your "military grade" M4 style assault rifle costs about $500. They're happy IF they get a 6" group at 250m
My M4 cost well over $6k. I'm happy because I get a 0.6" group at 500m.
Who the hell wrote this s***. This 9mm round is the most popular round in the US and it did exactly what it was intended to do. You will definitely not see anyone in the street using a 50 cal. The writer needs to find a new occupation
A lot of Musk fellators commenting here.
That truck is one ugly piece of stuff.
