Title: Early signs of Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Laptop refreshes surface with Intel Core Ultra 5 processors

Dozens of benchmarks for two upcoming Microsoft Surface releases have surfaced online. Rumoured to be Surface Laptop and Surface Pro devices, the pair both feature modern Core Ultra 5 processors based on Intel's Meteor Lake architecture. The new Surface Pro will launch with a weaker than its Surface Laptop counterpart, though.

Still no AMD APU in sight...

Hope the Minisforum V3 does the job that Microsoft isn't doing.

Intel might be good enough if battery life in NBC's WLAN tests is sufficient, say, 12+h and 7+h at maximum brightness. Otherwise, AMD is needed indeed.

There is always a massive delay between HS and U series AMD APU chips. We just started seeing HS in laptops. Don't expect U variants anytime soon. Not until after Chinese windows handhelds get them first, that's for sure.
