Title: IKEA TRETAKT smart plug launches at low price
Post by: Redaktion on March 04, 2024, 19:03:26
IKEA is now selling its TRETAKT smart plug in a few stores in the EU. The gadget, first revealed in an FCC filing late last year, was spotted by a Reddit user. Compared to the older TRADFRI model, upgrades appear to include an integrated button and a more compact size. Plus, the gadget is relatively cheap, though this looks due to a somewhat basic feature set.

Good improvements and fantastic deal with the remote.

I'd suppose it's quite reliable as well.

But the vital info needed is, will it extend your zigbee coverage?

Yes, it does. I just set one up with home assistant and it does indeed act as a zigbee router.
