Popular free-to-play FPS The Finals has mysteriously started supporting Linux. Fans may want to temper their excitement, as Embark Studios has not officially acknowledged or announced support for the open-source operating system.

I got the confirmation from "Embark | Dusty" that the change was in fact intended.

He said the following:

On a further question why it was bot announced publically he said:
