Title: The death of perpetual licenses

It was ten years ago since Adobe decided to kill the Creative Suite in favor of Creative Cloud. Since then, other developers such as Autodesk have jumped onto the subscription model for their software. Are perpetual licenses about to go the way of the dinosaur?

Software as a Service is a scam with the only objective to increase profit.

The easiest way for consumer to fight against this, and other stupidities is to simply stop buying and to support open sources projects, whenever it's possible.

I cam here to basically to echo the first comment. If perpetual licenses are killed off that interest in open source will explode particularly among  businesses.
