The refreshed Asus ZenBook 14 OLED packs a punch with a bright 3K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. For CES, Asus is adding AMD's Ryzen 8040 CPUs to the line-up in addition to the Intel Core Ultra CPUs that have been available since late 2023. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Asus-ZenBook-14-OLED-thin-and-light-powerhouse-gets-AMD-Ryzen-8840HS-alongside-colour-accurate-120-Hz-600-nit-3k-display.791499.0.html
I bet you they have proprietary software that only works on windows to get that OLED working properly. Regardless the OLED is probably PWM dimming (which means it turns off and on really quick to look less bright). This sucks, which is why they always make it difficult to find the information.
The article makes an incorrect statement: The ZenBook 14 OLED features an all-metal design
In fact, the case consists of a plastic base and an extruded metal cover
i'll upgrade on zen 5, zen 4 is not worth the performance jump vs zen 2.
zen 5 strix point should be a good upgrade, 12 core, another 20% ipc increase, should be great jump from my 4800h.

Not sure on the software front, but Linux (assuming you mean Linux if you're talking about non-Windows compatibility) usually has pretty solid hardware support, and you might need to calibrate the thing for it to look right in Linux. HDR support might also not be fantastic, to be fair. So you might not get all of the monitor's features.
Also, unfortunately, yes, it does look like that display has PWM flickering, if it is indeed the same unit as the one in the ZenBook 14X OLED we reviewed a while back (same specs and form factor, so it makes sense it would be the same). Flickering starts at 250 Hz below 70% brightness.
So just never work at night! /s
