Post by: Redaktion on December 02, 2023, 07:12:09
Announced back in August of this year, the Minisforum MS-01 mini PC has officially entered the mass production phase. The workstation will likely make its debut on December 20, and the first batch will offer Intel Core i9-13900H and i9-12900H CPU options.

"the mini PC supports discrete GPUs. To be exact, it has a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot, which can accommodate most of the modern graphics cards."

Desinformation. In this mini-PC, there cannot be enough space for "most of the modern graphics cards"!

Well the very next sentence clarifies that statement to be true but along with the physical constraint of being to fit inside a mini pc case.

Except the next sentence is also wrong. Most mini itx GPUs aren't single slot. And low profile GPUs are different from single slot. Many low profile GPUs also aren't single slot.

So not only do most GPUs not fit, most mini itx and low profile GPUs won't fit either.

He's saying the SLOT can accommodate most modern graphic cards, not that the mini pc can support them, as explained in the article. Perhaps both you and the one quoted should be precise in your words.
